2 · The short version

This website is deliberately built to process as little as possible. Concretely:

• No cookies are set — neither technically necessary ones nor any others.
• There is no web analytics, no tracking, no advertising pixels and no profiling.
• No fonts, scripts or media are loaded from third parties. Everything is served from our own server.
• There is no user account and no login.
• There is no purchase and no payment processing on this website.

We therefore process personal data in only two places: the technical server logs and — if you actively choose to — the Founder Beta request.

3 · Visiting the website (server logs)

When you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technical access data that your browser transmits automatically. This includes in particular the requested address, the date and time, the amount of data transferred, the status of the request, the browser type and operating system, and the IP address.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technical operation, stability and security of the website. This data is not merged with other sources and is not evaluated on a personal basis.

The website is operated on Vercel Inc. A data processing agreement is in place; transfers to third countries are based on the EU standard contractual clauses.

4 · Founder Beta request

If you ask for Founder Beta access via the form on this website, we process your email address together with the time and content of your consent.

The procedure is a double opt-in: after submitting, you receive an email with a confirmation link. Your entry only becomes effective when you click that link. Without confirmation, the unconfirmed entry is deleted once the confirmation period expires.

The sole purpose is to notify you when access to the Founder Beta becomes possible. No newsletter is sent and no advertising takes place.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future — via the unsubscribe link in every email or informally by writing to the address above. Withdrawal deletes your entry.

We use an email service provider as a processor to store the address and send the emails. A data processing agreement is in place; transfers to third countries are based on the EU standard contractual clauses. The address is deleted as soon as you unsubscribe, or when the beta programme ends.

The form contains a hidden anti-spam field that is invisible to people. If it is filled in, we discard the request without storing it.

5 · Contacting us by email

If you write to us, we process the information in your message in order to answer it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at a contract.

We use your address for nothing other than the reply. The correspondence is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligation applies.

6 · The Undernap application

This notice covers the website. The Undernap application itself runs locally on your Mac: project knowledge, missions and results live in your local data directory. There is no service of ours that your work runs through, and no analytics, crash or usage telemetry to us.

The application’s outbound connections go to the AI providers you connected yourself. Their own terms and privacy notices govern their processing; your accounts there are your contractual relationships.

7 · Your rights

Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the following rights:

• Access to the data processed about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• Objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
• Withdrawal of a given consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

An informal message to datenschutz@unterhaltsplan.de is enough for any of these. Independently of that, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence or of the alleged infringement.

8 · Retention

We store personal data only for as long as it is required for the respective purpose or as statutory retention periods demand. Server logs are deleted automatically after a short period. The address from a Founder Beta request is deleted immediately on unsubscribe, and at the latest when the beta programme ends.

9 · Version of this notice

Last updated: 2026-09-21. If the processing changes, we change this notice — not merely our intention.
